The one radio station offers only country music and NASCAR qualifying news.  Men in these parts mostly do service as "semidomesticated oafs," cherishing their socket sets, chain saws and acetylene rigs.  They give their women kitchenware for Christmas and store important personal documents on the dashboards of trucks.
