We spent part of Sunday and Monday deploying some of our dock. Hopefully, the lake water level will drop some more soon so we'll be able to install the rest of the dock. I spent some time today firing up all of the outboard motors. Our outboard motor replacement strategy is working! I didn't have trouble starting any of the motors. The twins just couldn't wait for a spin around the lake, so we put one of the Lund boats in the water, slapped a Mercury motor on it, and zipped around all of Au Train Lake. Yee Haw!
Finally, all of the ice on Au Train Bay is gone. The strong winds of the past couple of days finally finished the job. We have 56 feet of dock in Au Train Lake in preparation for the Walleye Opener on the 15th. From that point on, it's pretty much a blur until the schools open again in August. ------------------- We might say that Hume had an unhappy marriage, but that would be superficial.
