sometimes honey gets made too
---------------------

Our guests shoveled a
path from Cabins 2 and 3 over to Cabin 8 so that they could
visit and enjoy potluck dinners. Today, before leaving Dana's
to go back home, a few even braved Dana's hill on one of our Laser Luge sleds. This was our largest winter group by far and the
old resort performed admirably except for the inopportune failure of
a thermocouple in the furnace of Cabin 3. Never underestimate
the power of a thermocouple! Temperatures are much colder
today, but at least the snow has
stopped for now. Gracias a Dios!

Don't you love
bureaucracies? Public or private sector, their primary goal is the
same: cover their backsides. It's as though the organization were a
living entity, a queen bee that required constant feeding by its swarm of
drones. Its purpose is to survive. Sometimes honey gets made
too, but that's largely an accident.
