On a routine search of the Internet, I came across a web site using many of the photos from my first Chicago Hot Dog slide show.  Rich Somerville, "Media Futurist," created The Media Foresight Society in June, 2001.  Mr. Somerville's web site says that he has been a newspaper journalist for over 30 years.  Hmmm, it is customary for journalists to obtain permission to use photographs taken by other people.  I guess Rich Somerville is exempt?  On his web page titled "Windy City's Wienie Wonderland" at http://www.mediaforesight.org/wienie.htm, you can see how Mr. Somerville "liberated" many of the photographs from my first Chicago Hot Dog slide show.

Mr. Somerville's page says, "So I always carry along my disposable camera to snap a shot of a new example of the wonderful world of wieners."

How convenient that many of the photos on Mr. Somerville's web page were taken by my camera?

Please send an email to Mr. Sommerville and let him know how much you appreciate my photographs.
