October 10, 2002a fine, even grand thing---------------------
I was driving over to the resort early this morning when I noticed a truly remarkable sunrise. This afternoon, one of my daughters mentioned that she saw a really nice sunrise this morning while riding to school on the bus. I told her that I noticed it too. -------------------- Before I had first done so, writing a book seemed a fine, even grand thing. And so it still seems — except, truth to tell, it is a lot better to have written a book than to actually be writing one.
