suing the inventor of the fork
---------------------

Yesterday, I finally
took Amy to visit Au Train Falls. The photograph shows the
Lower Au Train Falls and the building that holds the
power-generating turbines.
Yesterday, while
reading the news on the MSNBC web site, I came across the following:
NEW YORK, July 26 — A 5-foot-10-inch, 272-pound man has sued four
major fast food chains, claiming their fare contributed to his
obesity, heart disease and diabetes.
The article reminded
me of a Dennis Miller rant about personal accountability and
responsibility. Read today's quote to hear some of what Dennis
Miller had to say.
--------------------
"You've got to do the right thing and
take responsibility for your own behavior
instead of suing the inventor of the fork because
you've got a fat
ass. We've got to toughen up a
little. Accountability may not be
dead, but it's getting harder to find than a Sumo wrestler's belly
button."
Dennis Miller,
from his rant titled The End of Accountability.
