We enjoyed a perfect summer day. Temperatures didn't even reach the 80's and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The kids somehow talked me into sodas and candy at the Au Train Grocery. We made a couple of trips to Au Train Beach today, pretty much just to stare at Lake Superior. Lake Superior is a tool I use frequently to remind the kids that we live where other Americans go to vacation. I'm hoping that they'll miss the big lake when they grow up and move away. I'm banking on the fact that they will be pulled back occasionally to visit, not me necessarily, but at least the big lake... New Slide Show!
