does the world really need naked chickens?

---------------------

Buck Bay Creek along the AuTrain Songbird Trail - AuTrain, Michigan

I took the twins on our annual Spring hike of the Au Train Songbird Trail.  We timed our hike just right, there were very few bugs to contend with.  Earlier today, we took one of our Lund boats for our first spin around Au Train Lake.  It was a little windy, but temperatures were in the mid 70's and we enjoyed a beautiful blue sky.

There were hundreds of these flowers lining the bank of Buck Bay Creek.

We found hundreds of these flowers along the bank of Buck Bay Creek.  The first third of the Au Train Songbird Trail follows Buck Bay Creek.

"We call them naked chickens," Dr. Cahaner explained, as his brave new birds sauntered by, "just because they are naked."
