Temperatures climbed into the low 40's today!  Warm temperatures and below average snowfall have adversely affected snowmobile trail conditions in the area.  The snowmobilers that rented Cabin 8 last week said that Alger County is one of the few locales in the Midwest that actually has enough snow for snowmobiling.  That explains the larger-than-usual number of snowmobiles in Alger County this winter.  Our phone has been ringing off of the hook as snowmobilers try to secure lodging.
