weird-ass small towns

It got pretty cold last night and didn't warm up too much today in spite of the sunny skies we enjoyed this afternoon.  It's supposed to get down to around zero tonight.  Today's photograph shows a view of some of our cabins.  From the left: Cabin 2, Cabin 3 and Cabin 5.

"I would love to live in some weird-ass small town," Denise says, "but I don't have any marketable skills.  You know, people clean their own houses in weird-ass small towns.  And I don't carve burls, you know, whatever, those burl tables, bears and stuff.  I don't do that.  So I'm kind of screwed in the small weird-ass towns.  And I don't make methamphetamines either."
