NaNoWriMo Day 1
"Whether it fails or whether it comes off in the
end becomes secondary."
---------------------
Today is my first day of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)!
I have spent some of the time leading up
to NaNoWriMo refreshing and honing my word processing skills. I have
created an eBook template in Microsoft Word that allows me to create a document
(eBook) intended for electronic distribution. I have also created a master
document for my novel that takes advantage of Word's outlining capabilities and
its ability to manage large documents.
It certainly was an interesting
first day of NaNoWriMo! Somehow, I managed to crank out 1,948 words today
and that puts me right on track. Whew, all I have to do is duplicate the
feat 29 more times!
I updated my word count on the official NaNoWriMo web site:
http://www.nanowrimo.com
(note: clicking on the
link will open a new instance of your browser.)
Now, I need a good night's
rest and hope I can pick up some speed tomorrow.
