the shadows that had entered the room

---------------------

I surprised the twins today by taking them on a field trip to Au Train Bay to see the "Face in the Rock."  They were infinitely more interested in wading along the shore of Lake Superior and exploring a small creek.  They found a dead frog and worried about that for a little while.

Today's photos were taken near the Roadside Park less than a mile east of the M28 blinking yellow light in Au Train.  You can see Au Train Island in the above photo and the "Face in the Rock" in the photo that follows.

He decided that even if he were to fall asleep sitting up on the sofa in the middle of the afternoon, it wouldn't be anymore strange than somebody having to lie on his back for hours at a time.  He lowered his head to peer out the window.  Judging from the angle of sunlight, and the shadows that had entered the room, he guessed it was about three o'clock.
