a very early age

Today was Meaghan's twelfth birthday!  We celebrated by taking her to Mike and Mary Blough's stable for a horseback ride through part of the Hiawatha National Forest.  We enjoyed a fantastic ride that took us within view of Pete's Lake, McKeever Lake and Grassy Lake.  We enjoyed cool temperatures that were perfect for a horseback ride.  There will be a few sore muscles tomorrow!

The stable is located near Forest Glen General Store on FH13. The stable is operated by Mike and Mary Blough and their children.  They take guests on quiet scenic horseback rides into the Hiawatha National Forest.  You can contact them at (906) 573-2938.
