it's hotter in the summer

We experienced another power outage last night.  We've lost power three times in the past week or so.  It didn't faze our guests who spent another pleasant evening around the campfire.

Do you know why it's hotter in the summer than in the winter?  Because in the summer we have an extra hour of daylight, which we take away in the winter.
