nobody knew why

---------------------

For supper last night, I ate a can of King Oscar sardines in mustard.  Boy, are they tasty!  The sardines are lightly smoked Norwegian sardines.  My last name is Norwegian.  I like to think there's a connection.

I walked to Doucette Bridge today.  I saw a lot of birds including a Pileated Woodpecker with it's black and white plumage and bright red crest.

From here, the Au Train River winds its way to Lake Superior.

Doucette Bridge is where most canoeists end their trip down the river after taking off from Cameron Crossing Bridge.
