soon it will be cold
and all done

| Yesterday morning's sunrise
(pictured right) was pretty good, but it paled in comparison to this
morning's sunrise! (pictured below)

Well, here we all are on election
eve. I take great comfort in the knowledge that America has
survived and thrived in spite of her presidents. I'm confident
that we will survive this one too.
We were busy yesterday with more
pre-winter preparations. We're in pretty good shape. The infinite leaves have been raked,
the picnic tables are stored on end, all of the boats and outboard
motors are stored.
I'm lobbying for 2001 projects
already. I'm trying to talk the Resort Manager into a heated in-ground
swimming pool! I'll have to find and hire one of the
soon-to-be-out-of-work political spin doctors to pull it off.
Remember, tomorrow is election
day. Do the right thing and vote.
