everything else is
waiting
---------------------
It was a hot day at
Michigan Kev's. It had to be near 80 degrees this
afternoon! I thought it would be interesting to interject a
picture taken in January after a particularly heavy
snowfall.

I was passing through
Christmas, MI on my way to Munising and noticed that Santa has a new
coat of paint. For all I know, it may have been painted weeks
ago, but today was the day I noticed.

The quote for today is
from Karl Wallenda, patriarch of one of the world's most famous
circus families. The Flying Wallendas are still performing
their aerialist/tightrope act to this day.
During a promotional walk in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in
March of 1978, Karl Wallenda fell to his death at age 73. The
tragedy was not caused by his age or loss of ability, nor was it caused
by the wind he encountered that day. His fatal fall was caused by several misconnected guy ropes along the wire.
I can only aspire to
attain the astonishing passion Karl felt for his chosen profession.
