The
dock is in! We are one section short of what we had
hoped to put into use this spring. The missing section
is being shipped to us next week but will not be placed in
the dock this year. At this point we are approximately
136 feet out into the lake.
|
From the bench seats at the
end of the dock, you can observe all of Lake Au Train. They appear
to be perched precariously out over the water, but I can assure you that
they are very safe and secure!

The
yurt was delivered today! There is the single large
crate and the other three bundles wrapped in white.
You can see my Dad and Brother busy working on the entry
deck to the yurt. It looks like we'll be working on
the yurt tomorrow or Saturday.

"A lot of the stuff I do is so minimal, and it's designed to be minimal.
The smallness of it is what's attractive. It's weird, 'cause it's so
intellectually lame. It's hard to see me doing that for the rest of
my life. But at the same time, it's what I do best."
- Chris Elliot, writer/performer "Late Night with David
Letterman"
