Cabin
4 finally got its new roof today along with the wellhouse. The crew had a
perfect day for roofing and they did a great job.
|
We donned the waders and
started getting the new dock in the lake. There are a lot of bolts
and poles. We're definitely past the steepest part of the learning
curve now!

The
last big section of dock is ready to take its place at the
end of the dock. It has two eight foot wings and looks
like an airplane. In this photo you can see the two
four foot benches at the end of the dock. They should
provide a mighty fine place to catch Lake Au Train sunrises!

The new basketball
standard arrived today. We're calling tomorrow to get on the
concrete contractor's schedule!
Amy has deployed several
new vacuum cleaners. The new mattresses and springs have been
placed in their new homes. I think that project is complete
now. I'm pretty sure that all of the original mattresses that
were here when we bought the resort have been replaced.
Amy also informed us
today that the yurt will be delivered tomorrow afternoon!
Yikes!!!
The short interval of
time between winter and Walleye opener really makes things hectic in
the springtime. Thanks to Amy's persistence and the help of
her Mom and Dad, along with the help of my Dad, Mom and Brother, it
looks like we're right on schedule!
Many thanks to Cheryl and
Judith for their hard work whipping the cabins into
shape!
I hope I didn't leave
anyone out!
