Tom Passinault of Alger Septic Systems came out today to excavate and prepare the area where the new  dumpster will be placed.  He's also creating a new spot for the propane tank.

Tom did the rec center parking lot for us last year.  He does terrific work!  He also moved the mountain of Lake Superior sand down at the beach and all we have to do now is spread it around a little with a rake.

This picture shows you where the dumpster and propane tanks will be placed.  

Tom also pulled an obsolete telephone pole out of the ground for us and broke up a cement slab near the beach that once supported a brick barbecue grill.  He saved us a lot of work!

This afternoon, Menard's delivered the building materials we'll be using for the yurt.  We had forgotten they were coming and had to scramble to help unload the truck.
