There were still some large stalwart pieces of ice on the lake this morning.  By late afternoon most of the ice was gone.  All that is left are some large chunks in Buck Bay and the southernmost part of the lake.

There are thousands of little bits of ice along the shore in front of the resort.  There is a strong wind from the north today.  As the waves hit the shore the ice pieces collide and make a sound like a very large wind chime.  It's so nice to see open water again...
