January 27, 2000FeedbackWe are receiving some feedback from our mass mailing to guests. There seems to be some confusion about boats being included with the cabin rental (a boat IS provided with each cabin rental) and concerns about parking. The temperature reached the high 20's today and I moved snow again. I also took advantage of the partly sunny day to fill bird and rabbit feeders. I printed out some more brochures and addressed three to be mailed today. The twins and I field-tripped to Au Train to buy some stamps and mail the brochures. We had to stop by the Au Train Grocery to pick up some much needed gum, candy, pretzels and soda. I worked a while on the web site. I moved the Availability section to a more prominent position, part of the major navigation bar. I also updated the June, July and August availability pages and tweaked a couple of other pages. We booked two more reservations today and we are well on our way to the "twelve weeks full" goal! The edges of the summer tourist season are traditionally the most difficult to fill. With a little luck and a few brochures, we might just reach our goal. The coming summer season is showing great promise. Ah, great expectations!
