Visual Clutter

The twins and I field-tripped to Munising today to get some groceries.  I'm still bristling at the "No Wake" signs posted on the Au Train River and visible from the bridges on Forest Lake Road.  It's depressing that residents and the Forest Service find it necessary to remind visitors.  Yet another visual intrusion.

On the way back home, we stopped to snap a picture of the Au Train Grocery, home of world-class egg salad sandwiches (among other things).

We also took a picture of the A&L Grocery, home of world-class pizza (among other delicacies).

We're working hard on the letters we send to guests confirming their reservations and informing them of policy and price changes.  For the third year in a row, there are NO increases in the base cottage rental prices!
