Business as Usual
We're back to our regular daily
routines. Snow conditions forced Superior Central Schools to
close Monday and Tuesday and
Au Train-Onota School closed on Tuesday.
The flying squirrels, Chickadees,
Chipping Sparrows, Nuthatches and the occasional Woodpecker have
been visiting the bird feeders. The Evening Grosbeaks paid a
visit along with a red-colored cousin that we haven't identified
yet.
We have received a couple of garden
catalogs, but they are of little use up here without a
greenhouse. We also received our new Murray McMurray Hatchery
catalog and we're thinking about what to hatch in the incubator this
Spring. The kids are leaning toward ducks.
I'm starting to work on the letter of
price and policy changes we send to all of our guests. We'll
be sending it out in the next couple of weeks.
