New Year's Day
Well, all four of our computers
survived the dawn of the new millennium. I installed all of
the Windows 95/98/NT Y2K updates some time ago and all of the
machines are working fine.
We never lost electric service and the
telephones continue to work.
I love the PBS Saturday line-up,
particularly Victory Garden, This Old House and the Woodwright's
Shop. In the almost total wasteland of television, I'm so glad
PBS is still hanging in there!
I performed some deferred maintenance
on the web site today. We're really starting to focus on the
coming season. I've been receiving many kind email messages
from friends, guests and visitors. Everyone seems to like the DanaCam.
I've received some nice comments about this journal. But I
don't like it as much since I "sanitized" it and removed
all hints of controversy.
I'm reviewing more of the photos that
Dale Frick kindly shared with us. I'll be posting more of them
in the near future.

(This is a
photo of a young Dale Frick! Look at the size of that fish!)
