We drove to Escanaba today to finish some shopping. It was a very
busy little town! On the way back home, an incredible full moon
began to rise in the east.
We returned to Dana's in time to enjoy the moonlight reflecting on the
surface of frozen Lake Au Train. Shortly after that, the snow clouds
obscured the view and "blessed" us with a few more inches of
powdery snow. Just what we needed for the luge track <grin>
The girls went shopping with their Uncle and Aunt visiting from
Georgia. They took in a movie and spent all of the money we gave
them. I am SO surprised! They all had a really great
time.
Our nephew from the Chicago area was treated to some quality ice
fishing time with his Grandfather. It seems minnows are scarce right
now and they had to wait for the Au Train Grocery to receive their
delivery. I received mixed reports on the success of the fishing
expedition.
Tomorrow, we pick up our fresh turkey and spiral cut ham from the
Marquette Meat Market in preparation for the Christmas Feast to be held at
Dana's rec center!
