Tree Roots
It was another warm day with a high
near 50. It has been extremely dry lately and we need some
precipitation. I hope we don't get snow tomorrow just because
I said that.
We are working the kinks out of the
new Cabin 4 office. The floor slopes from decades of abuse by
tree roots. Tree roots add much to the eccentric nature of
several of the cabins. It may seem strange, but we spend very
little time in any of our cabins. Unlike our guests, we never
get the opportunity to "vacation" at Dana's!
I ran the DanaCam for most of the day
after pointing it toward the playground and the Cabin 8/Cabin 7
area. There isn't much outdoor activity going on at
this time, but at least you can see what kind of weather we're
getting.
Amy made a run to Trenary to pick up a
trailer load of straw bales. We'll use them around the
foundation of the home/office to help keep the cold out.
