October 21, 1999Blitzkrieg the SilenceWe experienced an electric power "interruption" today. I don't know when it went out, but UPPCO finally got us back in service by 07:45. We endure a fragile electric power infrastructure here at Dana's Lakeside Resort. The dock is in. The boats are out of the water, laying on the beach with their bellies to the sky. There is nothing on Lake Au Train except some duck blinds and a few floating tethered bleach bottles. The bleach bottles mark piles of cement and other junk cast into the lake many years ago.
